Greetings, dear readers! I hope the beginning of summer (or winter for our lucky southern readers) has treated you well. The next update of Devil's Gambit is on track to be delivered with a delay from our usual timeline of 20 days from our usual bi-monthly schedule, so it will release the 20th of July.The reason for this delay is the sheer volume of new art: including 3 giant CGs and sprites for new characters that we have long teased to arrive. It will be the climax of our story and we're not pulling punches to land the perfect epic blow. We're also working hard on preparing what comes after Devil's Gambit: I'm not going to reveal too much about what we're cooking until we can present those projects properly, but I can offer some good teasers.First of all, after the last update is posted we will begin work on an edited and extra polished version of Devil's Gambit. that we plan to work on after the last update is posted. This is will be the game's Steam release, not a public build, and the long promised HD version for our higher tier patrons. We're going to have a future post detailing all the polish and extra art that will go into it.We're planning a completely new project helmed by our chief writer, Roddo of Nerus and Devil's Gambit fame. It will be, a supernatural romance about the ways love can transform you, even in ways that scare you, set in a spirit realm inspired by Chinese folklore.Very early in development we are building an experimental fully interactive visual novel written in Godot and inspired by World of Horror. An urban fantasy where you'll be stranded in an Italian (or Roman? or Etruscan?) town lost to time and under the whims of a sleeping lake.For those who want to stay in the world of Devil's Gambit we have a great follow up featuring our favorite scaly inquisitor, and what he does in the shadows.
