Samara had been bullied and called weird by Ricky and Josh, two obnoxious classmates of hers, ever since the three of them were little kids growing up in the same neighborhood. The reason they relentlessly teased and picked on her was because she was rumored to come from a family of witches. However, in high school they had begun to spread different rumors about her.
