It seems that Shantae and her friends (oh and Risky too) ended up in Lamias territory, they seem to be rather curious than hostile but it would be better for you to not stare them too long, and not because that is something rude.
Ofc they are also not interested in their shoes, why would a Lamia be interested in footwear so shoes off!
