Behind the Skyla Animation

I underestimated the challenges of using Premiere and After Effects. Creating the animation was complex enough, but export issues turned a sub‑10‑minute project into nearly 10 hours of error-ridden work, forcing me to export in segments and stitch them together.

Using a normal computer for video production is really pushing its limits. That’s why I’m returning to my previous style—focusing on drawing rather than relying on flashy effects. While those effects look okay, they aren’t the essence of animation and shouldn’t hinder my work.
