DESCRIPTION

Update 0.15 is here, and it might be the biggest update we've ever released, especially considering how quickly it came together.

This update doesn't finish Act 4 just yet, as I want to spend a couple more weeks polishing it. However, it still adds two new pieces of story content.

Warning: older saves might cause some minor issues on first iterations, it's safer to start a new game.

Lira's Questline

Once Lira finally joins you, you'll be able to nurture and romance her, learn her story, and help her establish herself under your rule.

Features:

2 CG scenes

1 unique sprite

Kuro's Seasonal Event

A new short seasonal event with a CG has been added. Kuro drags you to the beach resort. Does she have some hidden motive?

Features:

1 new unique costume

The event will now always trigger from June through August.

Combat

Character turn order is now updated whenever Speed changes, with animations.

Buffs and debuffs are now displayed more clearly.

Unit information now displays skill information.

Units now play attack animations based on the skill, attack, or weapon they use.

Added several new boss mechanics.

Crafting

The crafting interface and crafting behavior have been reworked.

Characters can now participate in multiple crafting types simultaneously.

Added continuous crafting with an automatic stop once a specified item limit is reached.

Service

The service formula has been reworked.

Base income from factors has been greatly increased.

Sex Factor now improves sex service income, while Charm and Tame factors increase non-sexual service income.

Characters with high factors can now earn considerable income even early on.

Added a new derived stat: Desirability.

Influences both service types.

Can be increased in numerous ways, with Charm Factor being its primary source.

No longer directly affects character income. Instead, Fame now affects Desirability.

Additional changes:

Estimated earned gold is now displayed in the service setup menu.

Multiple service-related classes have had their bonuses redesigned to encourage more distinct playstyles and character builds.

Class Changes

Geisha

Renamed to Courtesan.

Now conflicts with Harlot.

Harlot

Desirability is capped at 75, meaning there's always a 25% chance to earn only half income from sex service.

Performing a sex action the character is Skilled or better at has a 50% chance to earn 2–3× more gold.

Courtesan

Fame can now increase to Level 5 instead of Level 2 through service.

Bonus Desirability gained from Fame is doubled.

Pet / Natural Pet

Grants additional Desirability.

Natural Pet also improves the effect of the character's Tame Factor.

Sextoy

Unlocks sextoy service type interaction with custom formula tied to Tame factor.

Many other service-related class bonuses have also been adjusted.

Training

Resistance and Loyalty purchases have been deprecated.

Slave training has been completely revamped, replacing the old Spirit/Loyalty system with a continuous growth system.

Key changes:

Performing actions no longer reduces Spirit.

Instead, slaves earn Training Points as they progress toward becoming fully trained.

Better performance earns more Training Points, which are spent similarly to the old Spirit Points.

Loyalty-purchasable slave traits have been removed.

Slaves that start with the Rebellious trait can perform any action after being broken in. The first successful training session removes the trait.

If training goes poorly, you can postpone it, allowing the character to lose training progress so you can earn additional Training Points.

Slaves are now limited to two proficiencies to bring their overall efficiency more in line with subordinates.

Subordinates are now unlocked through negotiation.

You can either purchase their service immediately with gold or receive one of several alternative ways to recruit them.

Relations

All characters except the Master now have Affection and Respect values representing their relationship with the Master.

Different combinations may provide unique bonuses and consequences.

The Master's relationship values are changed through events and dates.

Daisy's quest now checks Affection instead of a hidden dialogue counter during its resolution.

Other

Race: Human

Added a new racial skill:

Universal Aptitude

Allows Humans to copy one race-restricted class from a selected character.

Location Names

The world now has proper names for its regions and capitals.

The Rest

Added handling for the Act 2 transition if you refuse Zephyra at the end of Act 1, preventing the church from becoming blocked.

Added multiple new dungeon background variations.

Improved handling of other languages and incorrect syntax.

Fame now provides Manhunt instead of a recruitment bonus.

Maxed Tame Factor now provides a more meaningful bonus.

Reduced rewards from faction slave requests:

Tier 1: 4500 → 3500

Tier 2: 9000 → 7500

Increased Hide cooldown from 0 → 1.

Renamed Darkness to Shadow Bolt.

Unique character wedding sprites now properly require their marriage achievement.

Removed outdated references to legacy mechanics from descriptions and tutorials.

Fixed the sexuals_bonus modifier still existing on some items and effects.

Fixed repeatable quests not using all map pools.

Fixed character upkeep values being too low.

Fixed Rouge and Mae wedding dress sprites.

Fixed several text issues related to dating.

Fixed Windwall and Air Shield granting much less ranged resistance than intended due to a scaling bug.

Fixed certain random events.
