I wanted I'd share a few snaps and thoughts while I'm diving deep into this new challenge 🤓
I'm currently in the process of recreating Viconia's chambers from the Cloister of Somber Embrace and also making some Guild spaces where action will take place. Building sets can be fun, but I'll enjoy lighting it more than anything.
Since there are going to be a number of shots with Viconia throughout this 1st bit of story, I'm paying special attention to her scene and outfit. This is my first time properly using Nyl's BG3 models and I'm so impressed. It's packed with features, customization options and is light to pose and render. Just amazing work.
Something we'll also be seeing more of is Initiate Shadowheart with her hair down so I'm cleaning that up too!
I really hope this all comes together like I envision. I'm going to work on some pinups (Karlach first) at the same time as this so I don't drive myself crazy overthinking it and can come back with fresher eyes more often. I'm planning to do at least 2 parts and then stop at a decision point for Shadowheart which will lead to another round of voting for what happens next.
