Hi! Just reminding everybody you should use Save As... from time to time (my video above is old and for Sims 3 but the concept is valid for any version of the game, or even other games).
It seems there's really bad issues with Sims 4 corrupting saves after "For Rent" EP.
Until they figure out, this is the only way to roll back, safely, to previous saves that might have been still good.
This method is always valid. Always good. You just have to manage your levels of backup to avoid ending with a MASSIVE folder, though. I had a LOT of saves back in the day and I'd clean them up a bit once a week or so (mostly with Sims 3).
