February 2025 status update (PSS update close and more about the new game)

Heya, it's time for another update. Time flies so fast!

Generally I am done with the next PSS update. I wait for a few translations and CG's. I'd have done this patreon post today anyway , but on coincidence I got the latest update from my CG Artist right now: The CG with the Imp is done and the last one left, the forest goddess, got a sketch that I saw and approved. I gave the artist 2 weeks at max where I'd like to release the next PSS update.

That should be enough to test the game with my game testers as well.

What I did in the meantime was working on my new game. And I have to say that I steam ahead quite nicely. Now don't get confused with progress and actually getting work done. Making video games takes a lot of time, so yes, it happens more than once that I sit on the same kind of work for hours. Like getting physics to work in a way that I'd like to. I'm still very motivated and I have a certain goal that I wanna reach before continuing on PSS. But this goal is really close.

Okay, you know what? There is no need to be that vague:The goal that I wanna reach is that the player character is able to attack an enemy. I've done the necessary animations and attack so far, and now I need to create the first enemy. For simplicity reasons I think a slime would fit quite well. If time allows it, I can start implementing some pathfinding as well.Once that is done I will fully concentrate on PSS again, getting this update out and start on the next PSS update!

Uhh, speaking of it, I actually don't know what I should do next. More blocking enemies? Starting on Linda's gallery? Sonja x Linda would also be an option, but for that I wanna have a CG and the artist is busy with Eleanor for now.Feel free to suggest something.

I hope I didn't ramble to much. You will hear from me again soonish! Furthermore I have to do a public post in the near future as well.
