Fitness tier news: Introducing an inclusive Approach to fitness & optimized Interactive Macro Calculator!
Hello my floofs !!
I'm literally so hyped about this you have no idea. With all these years of doing fitness and helping others, including myself, find the right approach to their journey I am always looking for ways to make fitness a more inclusive place. Yes for the sake of representation and inclusivity BUT also because inclusivity means curated approaches which is a huge benefit for us all, no matter what your gender is.
This is why the calendar of January 2025 will feature an inclusive and interactive macro calculator that’s designed to be accessible to a bigger variety of body types, hormonal profiles and identities!
Why This Matters
Traditional BMR (Basal Metabolic Rate) calculations often rely on gender-specific formulas, which don’t always reflect the diversity of what it means to be human. By focusing on an inclusive approach, we can offer a more accurate and personalized experience for everyone while empowering individuals with a better understanding of their bodies.
What’s New
Inclusive BMR Calculations: This calendar will be introducing a gender-neutral formula that takes into account unique body characteristics, ensuring everyone can get the most accurate calculation for their needs.

Interactive Macro Calculator: This new tool allows you to easily calculate your macros based on your personal data. Adjust your goals and make informed decisions about your nutrition!

Key Factors We Consider
BMR and Gender Differences:
BMR (Basal Metabolic Rate) is calculated differently based on physiological differences that affect metabolism.
However, I prefer to have an inclusive approach based on an informed decision of the individual. That way, you will get a more accurate result that reflects your unique body characteristics.
Here are key factors to consider:
Body Composition: On average, individuals with higher levels of muscle mass generally have a higher BMR because muscle burns more calories at rest than fat. People with higher levels of testosterone typically have more lean muscle mass.
Hormonal Differences: Different hormone levels influence metabolism. Testosterone promotes muscle growth and a higher metabolic rate, while estrogen and progesterone also play roles, especially during the menstrual cycle.
Body Size and Structure: Generally, individuals with larger bodies and higher body weight need more energy to maintain physiological functions, leading to a higher BMR.
Genetics: Genetic factors influence BMR and can vary widely among individuals.
Also, for the sake of transparency and accessibility, the formulas used will be explained in the calendar !
Feel free to share your thoughts and feedback—I'm always looking to improve and make things happen to help you all reach your goals and see how amazing you all are !!
