DESCRIPTION

Hey guys

It's been a pretty hectic few months for me, the motivation to write completely sapped from me.

I wrestled with that feeling, mostly because some people actually paid for the year discount - which made me feel pretty shitty.

That being said, I've started on something new (and have written a few new multiversal chapters too). I'm just letting y'all know I'll likely start posting again in May and unpause subscriptions.

That's not fair to do out of the blue, so I'm deciding to adjust expectations before I do so.

I'm not putting a limited word count on chapters anymore - it was a stupid idea that often just had me needlessly adding bloat when it wasn't necessary.

That's mainly the result of the new story I've already started. Those of you that were waiting on Having a Larp, the HP, Harry/Fleur story will likely be disappointed, and I'm really sorry, but I just didn't have the motivation to write it.

So what am I writing?

It shouldn't come as a surprise that, like many of you I'm guessing, I watched all of Solo Leveling during my hiatus (and listened far beyond that through the novelization). I also spent a lot of time in my happy place (binging litRPGs).

My new story isn't SL related. It's a High-school DxD story with Issei's Boosted Gear being replaced by an RPG like system (aged up, ofc. University DxD...?)

Naturally, if you're a fan of mine you'll know it's not that simple. Issei doesn't get XP by fighting enemies and doing dungeons, he gets XP from engaging in cuckolding, fiancee (gets engaged to Rias early) sharing and hotwife related activities.

...I promise it's not as stupid as it sounds?

I've put an unreasonable amount of effort into creating a cultivation system that makes sense too, with Issei having a pretty cool (and naughty) path to power.

The plan is to release two chapters of this every month, and maybe one chapter of multiversal on top of that. Again, I'm not putting words minimums on anything anymore, focusing more on making each chapter as coherent as possible.

If that sounds interesting to you, great, if you're not interested, I understand and thank you for your patronage thus far. I do enjoy writing, and the more I write here, the more feedback I get, the more experience I'll get to use to write my own (non generate) novel one day.

You're all helping with that, so thanks. It means a lot.

I'm not home, so if you have any questions, feel free to message me on here in the comments or DM. I'll check discord when I get home.

All the best. Hope you enjoy the first chapter of The Draconic Codex next week!
