Tried to get this out in time for lunar new year! I haven't celebrated the holiday since I was a teenager with my family. Now that I am an adult and I live with folks who enjoy traditions, I wanted to make some of my own and celebrate with friends.
So this is my first portrait for In Tết, short for Tết Nguyên Đán (Lunar New Year). I hope to do this more for years to come, and that you enjoy it! 🧡🧡🧡

Some extra fun facts:
The symbol behind GwenFox is Thọ (壽), which means 'Longevity'.
GwenFox is wearing Áo dài, Vietnamese formal dress.
The bottom has a American-Vietnamese flag because I'm American and Vietnamese! My father was born in Saigon and came to the United States as a young child after the war.
The flowers around the composition are Hoa đào, Vietnamese peach flowers. They represent the season of spring, as well as luck in the new season.
