I spent a crazy amount of time on this image but I hope that the result was worth it!
Vienna was a fan of several pieces I've done in the past where I've drawn characters very close to the viewer, she liked the intimacy it gave off.
For this image my goal was to portray it almost like a date, capturing a brief moment during a walk. I wanted a very spring/summery vibe with an ocean and some clouds. I went heavy on the foliage above Vienna's head to further enclose the viewer and to hopefully drive home the intimate feeling I wanted.
