Workflow:
Working on december reward, and started planing the frieren comics for the previous monthlys. I Think i might do a 2 pages ones, but less crowded pages, like 3/4 panel each, spread a bit and have some fun, wanted to try that, more "manga" pannelling style.Out of that the reward are advancing well, if i'm good enough might be at the half tonight, working on one atm, one is done, got 7 elites tots and 1 HQ only, so i think i might finish it all this week!Wanna work on that frieren one. BTW i said it on the discord, but i repeat it here, now the Monthly ll be said before, what to expect, format wise:I decided i might add "sketch series" but as i often turn those into CYOA.. i'll see, but i love to do those, more focus than in one panel, but still quite quick to do, we ll try that with Gobi Cunilingus monthly! Once i did the Frieren ll instantly come to the Monthly 69 . HEART of Iron.. again
I went back to Heart of Iron4, and HO BOY, i'm rusty. Not planning on buyin all the dlc, for now i got 3 old ones, they're quite enough and i don't miss much. If i play it regularly i might suscribe to their monthly suscribtion. For those who don't know, Paradox games release vanilla.. quite simple, and they add 2 to 3 dlc/year to pump it up. The company basicly finance itself like this.Issue is after 3/4 years, any complete all dlc games is like 250€, so no one buy it!So they came with monthyl subscription, you may 8€/month, you get full game, as long as you have the base game. TBH... i know they push DLC at 30€ each to make the monthly subscribtion look better, cause peoples might forget it's on and keep it even when not paying, but i'm ok with it, as most of time i up a paradox game, play a lot for 3/4 month, and uninstal for 3 years X)... Exept Stellaris, i can never stay far from stellaris for more than 6 month, way to addictive!Anyway, what is HOI4? It's a WW2 simulator.. But damn, you go DEEP. Like, managing how many military factories you got, wich factories create what sort of equipment, what regiment carry as weapons and equipments, what are your tank designs etc etc . It's 100% war focussed, you can go Historical or try alternate history path. Exemple, take the USA. Start in 36, Franklin Delano Roosevelt is in power. It's in the height of the great depression, economy is weak,mixed between isolationism and no war support. Army is a joke, marine is quite strong but you got, by treaty, to stay under the british navy size. Then as world tension rise, you slowly get more option to build military factories, increase army size, build more ship, reinforce your pacific island , send weapons to the allies, etc etc. Until Pearl Harbor and you join the war.BUT, you can play Alternate history, like, Election in 1936, Alf Landon is elected, decide to reinstal Gold Standard and abandon the New Deal, will get closer to America First, the Silver jacket alt right led by William Dudley Pelley and Lindbergh. Seeing a rise of Fascism, many state ll rebel, leading to a second american civil war. If you win as the brown (the game avoid politics issues by giving each type of government a colour, Fascism is brown, communism red, democratic blue and royalist/others silver) You become the confederate states and if your leaders get killed, you can even appoint the new "American Cesar" Douglas MacArthur, who is ready to take over the world. SO you see, most major country and MANY small ones got such paths, wanna play fascist Belgium and take over europe? Can do! So lot of time of play and hours of fun.. but damn it does look like an excell sheet sometimes X)
Murder Drones:
I liked a lote the Amazing digital circus, so decided to give a go to the other cartons from the same studio, and went with Murder Drones.Liked it less tbh, i think the story take time to get into, but, liked the character around the ends. It's a bit confusing to get what happen sometimes, i think some part could use clarification. But overall was a quite good show. Just, weak debut, but take steam over time. Enjoyed it in the end, wonder if they ll doa season 2, there's mix message over the net, like, Netflix said they wanted one, creator said there ll never be, but some site say it's signed.. Hard to know where we are here XDAll in all, it's short, 8 episode, between 25 to 30 minutes each, go take it a look. But still Amazing Digital Circus is WAY ahead in quality imo.
