Workflow:
Finished the Elite n HQ in a week, almost, 8 days, but, not bad may i say, so now what? First was deeling with my insomnia, i had several recently, was at a party, drank a Monster can, made my sugar level and tension spike, didn't managed to sleep and started fucking up my sleep pattern.. ALL in ALL, getting old is shit! Had to took some sleep pills for a coupl of day to help me get back to a normal, why my rythm of work was.. kinda shit!ANYWAY it's done now, so, what of the future, i give myself up to the 03/02 to finisht the Monthly 68 comics, if i do the 3 pages before that, i'll allow myself to draw the epilogue. BUT whatever happen i want to have it done for the Tuesday. Once that done, working on the Monthly 69 till the 5th, at that moment work directly on Elite n HQ, and depending of that see what i do for the month, Comms, or finishing 7 more Monthly!Whatever i do, if i succeed i would be Up to date for all the patreon thing Due, and once that ll start doing the Elite and HQ comics i owe to those peoples! =DLet's see if i keep the distance this time
Frankenstein:
We did a cine night yesterday with a friend, watched the Frankestein of Guillermo Del Toro. Liked it, like usual in one of his movies the evironement and artistic direction are gorgeous! Quite close to the books too, some big changes, indeed, but overall interesting. Didn't watched his Pinnochio too, same friend proposed we do it next week for another cinema session. Could be fun!Anyway don't really want to spoil the story.. but i think i can safely resume it base story? Be it, docteur Frankestein build a body made of different parts and manage to bring it back to life. Movie is sperated in 3 different part, the introduction, when some sailors find the Doctor in the middle of the nowhere, close to the North pole, and get to fight with a weird humanoid creature they can't kill. Part one is the doctor telling his story, from his childhood to how he went to make the "monster" and the last part is the creature telling it version of the story. Overall it's a good movie, i dearly recomand. And, spoiler alert, in the book too, the Doc is a douche. We see the story by his eyes, so he don't tell it, but yeah, he isn't a good man, if you juge him by his actions. Just to say cause some peoples called it woke cause the movie show the Doc as being an asshole... and was like "Duh.. did you read the damn book? It's about a man playing god and facing the consequences, whole story is about him being an egotistical ass who bring ruin to anything he loved"Anyway, good movie

New Tournament Saturday, most of the afternoon and evening we ll bring our bands for a showdown, once again!I'll bring my both band, my beastmen and my black orcs!Why? Because on my beastmen i'm mostly putting money aside to buy myself a minotaur in the team.. and despite ordering the fig 1 month ago... it's still not here... X)We bough it together, each taking this or that fig, so we shared the delivery fee, as it come from Canada, but.. heh, seems it just yesterday quit american soil to come here so.. not today we ll have it XDSo when i finaly buy it i'll switch an play the Orc instead!Manages to build it with a mix of orc fig i bought online and old Confrontation figs i had. Confrontation was an old fig game in the 90/2000. Was French based and was a quite serious rival to GW at the time. But they failled in the long run. Long story short, they had managed to make a game that was easy to buy in. Only need rulebook, and each fig you buy had a card with it stats, so, no need for an army rulebook. And as it was blister of 1 fig each time, was easy to stock and didn't cost much to them.When Warhammer battle started to show sign of weakness they decided to do their own "Warhammer battle" and try to swoop the market, so they went from small band army, easy to get and manage (most peoples had at least 2, was not that expensive back then, like 7/8€ fig, need 5 or 6 to play). And went to big army, with need of a rulebook and an army book. So to pley you went from 40€ budget to 100€ just to start.. and didn't worked. So the cost of stock managing and all make them bankrupt. Sad, cause honnestly, at the time they had clearly better sculpt, i'll add a picture for you to see! Even by today standard they're good one! Anyway all to say, used a band of Orc i had back then as base for my Mordheim, didn't finish to repain all but when i do i'll post some pictures on the discord!
