Happy New Year! This is Rebis.I hope you’ll continue to enjoy "Anime-Tamae! Tensei Maidens" and other Rebis' works this year as well!Now then, since this is the Year of the Horse, I’ve prepared a New Year illustration featuring a horse-type youkai.
She is La Siguanaba from El Salvador in Central America.
Siguanaba appears as a beautiful woman with long hair, sometimes naked or dressed in white or black, bathing by the water and seducing men.
However—when she turns around, her face is that of a horse, or sometimes a skull!In recent years, she’s often depicted with a combined “horse skull face.”She even served as one of the main characters in the 2025 Hollywood haunted attraction "Monstruos 3: The Ghosts of Latin America."
Of course, since the Anime-Tamae world prioritizes cuteness and erotic appeal…
I condensed the scary facial elements into a mask and portrayed her as a sultry, tan-skinned Latin beauty!
Looking back after finishing the piece, I realized that there’s also a version of the legend where Siguanaba is said to have very long breasts—so maybe I could have emphasized that more.B-but since she’s a Central American youkai, I just couldn’t suppress my urge to prioritize drawing a huge, luscious Latin butt…!!
If I get the chance to draw Siguanaba again in the main story or in future illustrations, I’d like to treat that as a challenge for next time!

さてさて、午年ということで今年は馬系妖怪のお年賀イラストをご用意しました。
中南米はエルサルバドルの「ラ・シグアナバ(La Siguanaba)」です。
シグアナバは長い髪の美しい女性として現れ、裸または白や黒の衣服を着た姿で水浴びをするなどして、男性を誘惑します。しかし！ 彼女が振り返ると、その顔は馬であったり骸骨であったりするのです！近年は馬と骸骨を合わせた「馬の頭蓋骨の顔」として描かれることも多いようですね。2025年のハリウッドのお化け屋敷『Monstruos 3: The Ghosts of Latin America』では、メインキャラの１人をつとめたりもしたようです。
もちろん！ あにめたまえワールドは可愛さとエロさ重視なので…
怖い顔要素は仮面に凝縮し、ラテン系褐色美女として描いてみました！
描き終えてから考えてみると、シグアナバには「乳が長い」という説もあるので、もっと長乳を強調した絵でも良かったかもしれません。で、でも中南米妖怪なので、でっかいラテンお尻を最優先に描く欲求を抑えられませんでした…！！将来また本編やイラストでシグアナバを描くことがあれば、課題としたいと思います！
