Yes, I'm not finished drawing him 'XD
I'll start with the first pic,
This scene actually happened at table X3
While doing a job, Mortimer spotted and followed a RabbitFolk whom he recognized as one of his escaped slaves. So after finishing the job, Mortimer actually confided in another member in his group, an old witch named Estillbe. Mortimer feels the closest to her because they both have a wicked chaotic energy. So he told Estillbe of what happened to him, showing his face for the first time to someone in the group. He explained what was done to him & how he spotted one of his slaves. But he sought her advice on what he should do next. He explained that he wants to learn where the slaves who destroyed his body are. Estillbe listened, shared her opinions & offered her guidance. She told Mortimer she'd help him in his revenge, but that he needs to grow stronger. And together they'd return to this town to ask some questions of the RabbitFolk.
So Mortimer now has a goal he's building to.
This moment was kinda crazy at the table because everyone at the table got to hear it, despite their characters not knowing. So everyone, even my sister-in-law playing Estillbe was shocked. And our DM was just shocked that our evil characters were being evil conspiring. But everyone thought it was cool, so it was awesome. XD

The second pic depicts Mortimer at 8 years old, His mother made him a costume of his fav book character. So he ran around being a silly kid in his new costume. But Mortimer's father was enraged by it, seeing his youngest child being too soft and whimsical. So he ripped the mask off and hit him square in the nose. He yelled at him to grow up. This was was the first time his father broke FoxFolk code. And wouldn't be the last as you've seen from another post. So Mortimer ran off to cry alone.

As another update for those who want to stay up to date on Mortimer,
Last session Mortimer purchased a closed wagon and painted it in circus fashion. So on the road as we traveled we ran in to a group of orcs and I was made to roll on how the orcs reacted (I think it's cool that that's a thing in shadowdark) So I rolled high, so the orcs recognized my as being part of the Stellaris Slavers because they had previously done work with Mortimer and his family in the past, so they were friendly and gave Mortimer some ale for the road. Buuuuut party members became sus on the interaction and Mortimer tired to lie to the party that he didn't know the orcs & was just playing along. But I rolled low...so the ones who questioned him know that he lied. So i'm curious to see if that will grow into anything else XD Currently characters are too scared of Mortimer to pry or call him out XD
