Updates! Features! Excitement!
Adventure Muncher is DEAD! Long Live Adventure Muncher!
So, that's a bit hyperbolic. What I meant to say is that Adventure Muncher can now run in your browser - no more adventure muncher app! Hurrah!

The Adventure Muncher app will be supported for some time; it's not going anywhere, so don't worry.
Those of you with high Passive Perception may also have noticed the appearance of a DDB Maps tab in the Muncher. This allows you to import maps from the DDB Maps VTT. There are often additional maps here that are not available elsewhere on DDB (such as Castle Ravenloft and third-party map packs). This will use the meta data from Adventure Muncher if it can make a match.
DDB Maps also comes with some fun new features - auto grid detection. This will use some fancy maths to try to find grids on a scene. This is available by right clicking on a scene if you have DDB Importer active. It's also available as a stand-alone module (Auto Grid) for use outside of the 5e system.
There is also a DDB Stickers app allowing you to place stickers from DDB on to your foundry maps as tiles, see it in action below!
Did you know there was a party inventory on DDB and you can import it into a Foundry Group actor? It works a lot like the regular character importer, as well as a character manager overview:
Have you come across the Frame Muncher option in the Tools tab? It will now import most* of your animated frames from DDB to use in Tokenizer 2. Did you know Tokenizer 2 can create animated tokens?
Who can use these new treats?
Native Adventure Muncher - available to everyone. (Foundry v14)
DDB Maps and DDB Stickers - available to Undying and God tier supporters. (Foundry v13 and 14)
Frame munch - any tier.
Group inventory import - everyone
What's coming up next?
The official release of Ravenloft The Horrors Within is close - the subclasses have already received some parsing love and I'm furiously working to get the maps all set up.
Most of the big vote takers in the Priority poll earlier this year are now done. My main focus for the middle of 2026 is getting more 3rd party books mapped, and parsing improved, especially for the third party subclasses. There are also BIG changes coming in the next major Foundry 5e system that will no doubt see a lot of breaking change, but that is still a little ways off now, but getting closer all the time. This is going to start taking advantage of a lot of the new features in v14 of Foundry.
Thank you for your continued support, it's genuinely means a lot to be able to keep doing this every day.
Happy gaming, and stay safe out there!
