The external environment of ARSA is too harsh for common organisms to survive, so there’s no need to worry about biofouling sticking to the hulls. However, the machines still undergo periodic scrubbing as part of their routine maintenance.
Whenever IV stays here, he takes on this task at least once. It’s a job that suits him perfectly, as he can hold his breath for over a day and is even capable of gas exchange through his fur.
