This has been the worst sore throat of my entire life. It felt like I tried to deepthroat the business end of a lightsaber. It had me in so much discomfort I entered absolute panic mode. I had Covid twice that wasn't this bad.
Apparently it was a severe case of streptococcus that I probably got when I went to the dentist a few weeks ago. After getting on antibiotics I am finally starting to feel better. I'm going to try to take one more day to kick this and then I'll be back to work. I hate taking time off but this infection scared the bejesus out of me.
I have a lot more to do on Avalon than I anticipated. There's a lot of script re-writing I still need to do and one amazingly fun scene that I'm reworking to be completely new and interesting. I just keep adding on to my work with Avalon because I want it to be what I originally envisioned and now I have the skill to bring it up to a new level of creative art.
Then I've finished the second scene for Suzi's final part which means there are three or four left to go. The good news is that two other scenes are setup so I just have to start putting those renders together. Finding clothes for the girls is a serious process but that's all done.
I'm alive, I'm on the mend, and I'll be back to work tomorrow. The next progress report will be on Monday the 15th instead of this coming Monday.
