Hey everyone! I'm here as promised with the Masc V edition of Set 2 from my NPC Complexions & Normal maps mod! Super excited about this project still!
This set has some more really cool options; got some with really nice scar detailing! Oh, these complexions and normal maps will all work with the various body mods/frameworks; I've named my mod files so they load pretty much at the top of your load order. So it'll work just fine. I also tested to see if the mod affects any NPCs. Loaded all the Main NPCs and a bunch of Side NPCs. Didn't see anyone being affected.
Be warned, this will be another very long mod post!
Here's a look at the mod with the different Body Mods/Frameworks for Masc V:
You also get a look at some of the Complexions and Normal Maps included in future sets! But yes, my mod works with all of these options. Everything has been tested. Obviously this will likely not work with other complexion/normal map mods. You can mix and match complexions and a normal map. You can have multiple complexions installed as long as you keep track of which option replaces which Skin Type. But you can only have one normal map installed; V only has one assigned to them in the game files.
Wish it wasn't the case, but hey. Still got alot of potential.
Here's a look at your Masc V Options for Set 2:
As you can see, there's a bunch of options in this set! There's some really nice options for those of us who appreciate older Vs! And there's even more in the upcoming sets! I used Fingers' complexion and normal map for the mod page photos!. These were taken with a V that uses KS UV and the Atlas body, just for reference. And my screenshots are always taken in raytracing.
But as someone who tested every file in the CC before publishing this mod, I can confirm the mod looks amazing on Vanilla V still.
Okay, now for the Installation Instructions (no additional mods needed):
1) Download the Zip file for this mod.
2) Extract the contents to somewhere on your Desktop/PC.
3) From those files, grab yourself a complexion and a normal map; just as an example. I also reccomend checking out the 'Read More' document.
(Yes, as already stated, you can have multiple complexions installed. But remember, only one normal map)
4) Put those files into your mod folder. On Steam, the file path is as follows:
steam - steamapps - common - Cyberpunk 2077 - archive - pc - mod
(You want them to go in the Mod folder at the end of that file path)
5) Load up the game, and head to the Character Creator.
6) The normal map will already be applied to your V. Cycle through the Skin Type options until you get to your chosen complexion.
7) That's it! Enjoy!
This mod project has been a huge undertaking, but I am so happy with how everything turned out. Not just the mod page photos and details, but the references too.
I think I laid everything out in a way that's pretty easy to understand. And I am just so excited to see what you guys enjoy using from this and the other upcoming sets. Some day I might try putting Masc Complexions on Fem V and vice versa, too!
The Zip file is a bit chunky because I included the complexion/normal map references for ease of use.
That about does it for this mod post; check out the Fem V edition of this second set. I will also be posting new mods soon, and more CCXL conversions of the many eye mods I've made!
Have fun with this mod, take care of yourselves; and join the Discord if you haven't already!
