Hey folks! Hope this New Year has been treating you all well so far! I know it's been a bit quiet, but I've been working on rewards and a bunch of other public projects!
This mod is one of the many CCXL Eye Sets I've got coming for you guys over the coming weeks and months. I find eye mods are just super fun to make, and honestly pretty easy too. That's why I end up making so many of them. Hopefully you guys have been enjoying all my eye mods, especially the CCXL stuff; I am so glad that's a thing.
It's been great getting to have standalone eyes with their own icons.
These eyes are an expansion of two vanilla eyes. I grabbed the eye texture and then drew over all the little cyberware details, putting them on seperate layers. I then also recreated the realistic eye texture behind all of that, by hand. This allowed me to make a bunch of unique colour variants. I also got to make a super detailed normal map, which gave these eyes much more depth than their OG vanilla counterparts.
Here's a look at the 15 Eye Colours and 3 Sclera Options:
As you can see, there's a good mix of vibrant colours and more realistic shades. In the mod photos I did end up using two of the Red recolours. Which in hindsight wasn't the smartest move given one of the OG Vanilla options is Red, but hey. The mod page photos turned out so good I just did not want to go and redo them. But these collages give you guys a good look at the other options.
You can also see the funky unique UI icons I made.
Installation Instructions:
1) Download the Zip for this mod.
2) Open up the Zip once it's downloaded.
3) Head to your main Cyberpunk directory. On Steam, the file path is as follows:
steam - steamapps - common - Cyberpunk 2077
(You want the 'Cyberpunk 2077' main folder at the end)
4) Drag and drop the contents of your downloaded Zip into that main directory.
5) Boot up your game, and head to the character creator.
6) Go to eyes, scroll down, and you will find the Castlevania Eyes with their custom UI icons!
