I usually get quite a lot of praise about my cable management, but this is only for the show! I don't have a proper studio so most of the music-making happens on the couch, with my toys spread on some chairs and cables everywhere. When the night comes, I put "all the jacks in the boxes" and start over the next day.
While this is obviously not super comfortable, I found that it gives me the opportunity to try new things all the time. After each track, I push the reset button and start fresh!
