Domestic photo-set: The Studio (Tilli & artists)

DESCRIPTION

We realised while making our domestic photoset series that most of us prioritised having a studio over other rooms like a sitting room or permanent bedroom. While not every home will have one, we like to think of a studio as more of an idea than a single type of space - any room can (and should) be repurposed as a studio. In this photo-set we wanted to create a playful, contrived studio set up, with a gaggle of artists gathered in an implausibly tight composition around Tilli as they posed. We had just held a real life class in the same room and the artists who were drawing there all agreed to pose for the photoset - as so many artists are worried what the model might thing of their drawings of them we thought it'd be a chuckle to include Tilli's poses as they discover a discarded sketchbook full of drawings. Feel to borrow the artist poses and use them in any way you'd like!
