Hello!
This is just a real quick FAQ for new Sauce Performance users.
Q: Can I use more than 1 browser?
A:YES Just be sure to "link" the other browser to Patreon first by going to the 'Sauce Options' window and clicking "Link with patreon". You're free to use as many devices as you want with one word of caution...
Q: Can I do a full (the slow network sync) on more than 1 browser at the same time?
A: NO The system will not prevent you from trying this but it is HIGHLY recommended that you do NOT run a full sync on more than one device concurrently because Strava's throttling limits are tied to your Strava Profile and not the device being used. Instead you should use backup/restore to save time and avoid having your account being temporarily unavailable.
Q: Can I copy the data from one browser to another?
A:YES Use the Backup and Restore buttons in the Sync Panel. Watch this video for more details https://youtu.be/k5JAMvsu39A
Q: My first sync process stopped at around 650 activities. Did it stop working?
A:NO The daily limit imposed by Strava is 1000 activities per day. To stay safe, Sauce will only use 70% of this quota. Normal Strava usage affects this limit as well. This is why the number will not be exactly 700. Once it is safe to continue syncing activities Sauce will carry on automatically. You do NOT need to do anything special other than being patient - oh and make a backup when it's done!
Q: Can I export the data to another program like WKO?
A:VERY SOON The next patch release v8.0.4 will have "Export FIT Files" in the Sync Panel. This will download a ZIP bundle of all the activities in FIT format. Keep in mind these are not the original FIT files, they are generated from the raw data streams using Sauce's own FIT encoder.
