Introducing the MrTini23 Retro World Cup save game files.
What this contains is a FM26 save game file for every World Cup from 1986 up until 2022. To load the files, move the .fm files to the games folder inside your Football Manager 26 folder and select them via 'Load game' inside FM26. I have put the files within the correct file structure in the download folder for visual reference.
These retro World Cups have been set up to include the correct groups from that particular World Cup, however, group stage games are not in the correct order. If I figure out how to change this, I will update them.
The cups have also been set up with the World cup mode and online gameplay in mind so all games will be played on the same day per round.
The World Cups are based on the following retro databases:
1986 - TheMadScientistFM 86/87 Retro Database - early start date for 1986
1990 - TheMadScientistFM 86/87 Retro Database - simmed forward to 1990
1994 - TheMadScientistFM 94/95 Retro Database - early start date for 1994
1998 - TheMadScientistFM 98/99 Retro Database - early start date for 1998
2002 - TheMadScientistFM 00/01 Retro Database - simmed forward to 2002
2006 - TheMadScientistFM 07/08 Retro Database - early start date for 2006
2010 - TheMadScientistFM 07/08 Retro Database - simmed forward to 2010
2014 - MrTini23 13/14 Retro Database
2018 - MrTini23 17/18 Retro Database
2022 - FM23 base game
