I wanted to make ship art of two of my characters that aren't canonically together :)....
Bardos (dark-haired one) x Pamf (light-haired one). Both characters appear in my webcomic I'll probably start making pages for soon-ish! Pamf being one of the antagonists, and Bardos is the narrator and one of the protagonists.
Bardos being a battle-mage from a chaotic yet thriving planet, and Pamf being an anti-magic specialized swordsman from an orderly but dying planet.
The two have similar humble beginnings in life, Pamf is someone who has slowly built himself up to the top. He's revered through their galaxy and had to work over centuries to get there. Bardos is significantly younger and while has suffered and worked hard, everything has also built up for him very quickly; Bardos is a genius magician and inspite of his hardships, generally doesn't have a hard time making the right decision.
Regardless of not being romantic in the actual story, Pamf definitely respects Bardos the more he gets to know him, and considers the younger Bardos his equal. They have a rivalry, but Pamf is genuinely happy to see (and fight) Bardos, and finds him to be the most enriching person to fight with. Bardos has a bit more disdain for fights and Pamf's goals in general, but does genuinely worry for the ticking time clock on Pamf's homeplanet, and the quality of life for Pamf as well.
I think if I wrote a story about the two specifically about them in a romance, then it'd be about either Bardos trying to cure Pamf of what's killing his planet, or helping Pamf find peace in the life he has left.
Man, I fucked up drawing one of Pamf's arms and I'm only just realizing that IGNORE THAT...
Also Pamf looks super shoujo damn.
