Hello lovely people, and welcome back to our Blue Belt BTS for the week. For those who are sort of new here this is where we typically have out sneak peeks and arty farty rants and whatnot. Except for the weeks when we do art streams. I'll be aiming for Friday/Sat with these, a good way to end the week I think.
Now I don't really have a ton of cool BTS stuff to share at the moment because I'm so early in the cycle, but it's important to get back into the consistency of the posts so here I am. I mostly did writing this week, so I'll ramble a bit about our first scene/scenes of Round Nine. Minor spoilers I suppose so skip out if that's not your bag.
So as I previously alluded to in the devlog this week the opening of this update will be determine by who you went to the memorial with at the end of the last update. That wasn't my original plan when I started looking forward a while back, but over the course of years you come up with ideas for scenes that you end up tabling because they don't exactly fit where you're going at the time. But as I was mentally cataloguing, I realized that most of them could fit right here, with some modification of course, so I said fuck it and the work began. I've had a lot of fun working these scenes, mostly because they're ...fun. Don't get me wrong I love my drama, and sad whinging scenes as much as the next person, but it's been really enjoyable to sit down and just have little scenes that let the ladies of Unbroken show some different sides of themselves. I think what's important in these scenes for me as a creator is to give a little glimpse of some of how each LI thinks about herself in terms of being in a relationship, and her potential role as a romantic partner. Also they're mostly just meant to put a little smile on your face, They've made me smile as I write them (one in particular) and I'm just excited to see what I can do with them artistically. I have some fun renders forming in that part of my minds eye and I'm really looking forward to getting them actualized. I'm sure you'll see a few here when I do.
Anyway going on much more would probably get a smidge dull so I'll leave this one here. Next week I might drop some Author renders just so you have something pretty to look at instead of just words. And maybe I'll see you at the QnA this Sunday. Have a lovely weekend!
