Hello everybody, hope you're having a lovely day.
So the the hot news off the presses is that I anticipate the first draft of the script will be completed tonight, huzzah! It is a big sumbitch, so next step is trimming it down. Fortunately I was already creating a list of scene importance while I was working through it, so I expect it will be a pretty easy process.
So with the heavy writing out of the way I'll be returning my focus to the art. I'm going to try something I don't usually do and work on a scene out of order. Normally I try not to do this because of the aforementioned script trimming. Be really pissed if I went to the effort of rendering a scene only to end up not using it in the final draft. That won't happen with this scene though since it's the center point of the whole update, so can't get rid of it. I mean I could, but it would make for a very confusing update. But it's also it's going to be a big ole bastard, I'm assuming 450-600 renders so I'm hoping that getting it out of the way will be a bit of a morale boost upon completion.
So today I'll be putting the final flourishes on that first draft, and then I have some customs to knock out this evening to get them off my plate.
