I've been wanting to find ways to share my life and things i make but at the same time I haven't made much outside of my adopts and requests.
Then came along Tomodachi Life, and this seemed like a fun opportunity to dump lots of screenshots and the designs i've been making!
I love the original 3DS game like everyone else, I made my furry ocs (Tex, Charlie, Fenrir, and other supporting characters) as humans. I actually started off making them as humans, but was inspired to change them all to furries, once I got a stylus to draw with.
I actually now have two saves... one is Dog of Paradise themed, with furry characters and my fursonas! The second is Pokemon themed!!
In between work, I've been using the Tomodachi creator to transfer my ocs to the style, AND even make some original characters on the spot using the creator.
After I made my Dog of Paradise island, I was inspired by some Pokemon Miis to start a second save. And I became obsessed making Pokemon Miis. It felt like such a fun way to stretch my character design muscles outside of 'drawing' art. Getting to use a program to create character designs! And use elements in the game like clothing and quirks to bring their personalities out!!! It's been so insanely rewarding
I do wish I could share them online for download - trust me I would if I could! Instead I hope that they inspire you to recreate them (one to one, or just details you like!) But I know sharing in person works - maybe if you run into me at a con, I can share any of my Miis. I especially want to share Tex with everyone!!
Anyways, I hope you'll enjoy my silly screenshots. I want to share even more later, I'm currently out of town and can't import my more recent stuff (so some of these are awkward pictures of my screen), so expect more :) I also want to take requests of more challenging Pokemon to make as Miis.
