Lots of WIP in progress stuff this week!
HEADS UP: First 3 images/roughs are WORDLESS for those of you who don't like to be spoiled. The FOLLOWING 3 are the same roughs but WITH WORDS!
Then, after that, there is a bunch of the leftover artwork from last week, which I've been adding to and working on as part of my warmups. I'll talk about each of them a bit below!
20-22 Roughs
Gosh, these took some work for me... I was really struggling with how and what I wanted to show in these pages. I knew I wanted to get Nick and Owen together, and having some cock-interaction... with the heated monologue on top of it all. But I didn't really know how I wanted to draw it. The biggest issue I had was whether they should face each other or sort of face the camera instead (which is what I went with in the end, as it's easier to show-and-tell what's happening).
Page 20, the first one, I'm stilllll not completely happy with; The big mega cock might be TOO-much? Or maybe it needs to be in its own panel so it slaps up against Nick? I'm not sure... Originally, I just liked the idea of the cock breaking the comic page, as a sort of Nick-wake-up-call. I do love the reaching out, Nick hand tho =D That feels fun.
Page 21 feels like a pretty standard Ama page to me. some simple squared out panels and beats. I wanted the faces to pull attention on this one, and for the 'moment' to slow down and normalize a bit.
Page 22, I'm reaaaaaaly proud of. The Judy crawl was really tough to find a good reference for, but that cropped-over-the-shoulder camera angle works a treat, and I love how quickly I can get Judy back into the scene with a pop-out pose. It feels like the camera, and Owen are immediately redirected to her when she crawls on over, and it feels powerful =D I'm still unsure if Owen should penetrate or just press on Nick's hole with his hand tho...
WIP Buck
I drew a little bit of Buck last week! Anddddd I'm a bit mid about it. I don't think I've nailed his look here; he looks a little too stocky. Originally, I sort of wanted him to react to a news segment, seeing Judy on TV and saying out loud, 'dang, that's the girl I couldn't knock up!' But it didn't click when I started to draw it, and I just sort of explored an idea that he was maybe in the room with another couple doing the same beats he'd done in the past with Judy and Nick. IDK. This one needs some backgrounds, and a rethink maybe... Still, I wanted to show it off - I think I drew a cute BJ.
Owen Tounge Bath
I really had fun with this, until I realized it was basically the exact same post from a few months ago; Page 15! Whoops... I guess that reference image I have of a dude all bent over keeps pulling me back in, ha. I still plan to finish this one - It's just a joy to me. I'm not sure on the story of this one, but I like the idea that Owen's come back from some rough sports, and Judy takes the opportunity to teach Nick how to eat her Bulls ass.
Outnumbered Part2
Just me trying to think of a fun part two... The camera angle is a little basic... and Nick's proportions look a little off to me. BUT I had fun revisiting the big Wolf (I think I called him Alex?)... not much to report on this one... IDK if I'll finish it or not.
Collared Roxanne
I took a sketch I had from the Roxanne drawings and cleaned it up, to hand off to AmazingGwen to finish! She'd been super excited about the drawings I'd done up, so I thought it would be fun to do another collab with her. This is like... a go-to fav pose for me; I draw it a LOT haha. I have like... 3-4 other loose sketches that I'm thinking of drawing up further too - I'll see how I'm feeling about it later, but I really had a fun time drawing her last week. Felt really fresh and exciting.
AND that's it, gang! LMK what you all think of the pages!? I'll start pencils on page 1, and I'll trrrrry to push back against my desire to redraw it all...
