Progress on the page! A whole lot of Dicks!
Things felt pretty clean and easy this week, except for maybe sommmme of the hands? The largest hand holding the base of the mega cock- might deserve a redraw, butttt I also know it'll be cropped off the page, so I'm in two minds about spending more time on it. Maybe it'll naturally clean up during inks...
I thought my favorite bits would be the cock-whapping and grasping, but really, after tightening up my roughs into pencils, I really enjoy the Nick reactions =D
The bottom left panel with the 'whap' might be the weakest at the moment? I wanted this sort of top-down-camera angle, so that Nick was looking upward as he gasps. But it's really hard to make it look right... in hindsight, a straight-on-shot might have been better, or even a camera from below... Still, very happy with his whap-face =D
A little bonus thing is attached for those of you who enjoy the Swallow-themed stuff, and a .mp3 of ONE of the 82 exported mp4's is attached I got out of using Sora's (no not the AI) Pixel Converter, which popped up on my Bluesky this week. It's a bit of JScript, made by this Sora person that converts images into a Pixelated version of itself through your browser - neat! I was having fun with it and then thought it could be pretty hot to do the Swallow-Comic as a pixelated 'video'. I still need to edit it together and then make a 'good and bad' version... I need to look up how to make old-school VHS-fritzy transitions, too. But I got the legwork of putting in 50% of the text and exporting it all!
Talking of swallow-themed stuff: I've still been noodling and doodling out more Gary-scene. I keep redrawing my pencils as I'm just not happy with how Gary looks... I should try and aim to start cleaning it up soon; Get it good enough and share it all...
Anyway, that's it for the update! Next week - hopefully Inks and Flats for page 20, in hand!
