You guys, I adoooooore Tikko's art, so about a month ago, when they dropped me some incredible fan art (the first two pages) of Owen showing up at that raccoon's photostudio to get some photos done, and subsequently fucking the shit out of them =D I haddddd to draw something back.
I shared a bit of the in-progress version of the 1st page a week or two ago, as this has just been a really fun thing to tinker on in the sidelines.
I really like the idea that it's a street-facing studio, and the sex is sudden, hungry, and fast until Owen makes a tie, and poor Tikko is having to cancel their next appointments while they wait for it to soften down. IDK, just a fun little story: Owen walks away with a few more snaps than he was hoping for =D
A bit of a glow up in the past 2-3 years, since I last tried to draw Tikko. I think I got them a little more on model this time (I must have been in a thicccc-mood when I drew them last =D). Though I still think some of my anatomy needs work! I really want to get better at drawing, where I don't have to rely so much on my reference material; so many problems show up for me because I'm trying to replicate Model A's arms with Model B's torso. I'm still not quite sure how to get better at using my own imagination to, like, fix anatomy problems or draw from nothing... I feel like... more studies? And forcing myself to try and draw without reference more often... but it's a daunting idea, especially when I feel like I'm working well with my system. Maybe next in-between pages, bonus art, I'll focus on doing just a week of studies.
I did tinker with a few swallow-themed ideas this week, but they're super rough and not worth sharing yet. I want to finish that Gary-Judy comic too, but every time I open that file, Gary's face doesn't look right, and I end up wasting time re-drawing it. I know I should just push forward on it...
Anyway, onto the next page! Hyped for this one =D
