Powersliding into the start of the weekend with Page 22!
What can I say about today's page...Pretty damned proud of how the layout and flow came out, I think it's super playful and interesting. I was really excited to work on this one after laying out all those months ago, and it really was a joy to build on top of. Plenty of things I'd probably want to micro-fix, but like... good and hot enough!
The Judys are all especially fun for me. The Nick and Owen expression came out good, too. Annnnnd the dialogue and promise of things to come, is just so personally satisfying to me. I know it's not the gayest scene in the world, but it really feels like it has so much weight to it. I love getting to tease you all a little bit, and just having Owen put that little bit of pressure and promise onto Nick, just... makes me so happy, ha.
I can't waiiiiit to lay out the next few pages, but I gotta figure out an in-between illustration or illustration set to work on next week. I figured it would be swallowed themed, but I don't really know which of my many side ideas I want to explore tbh... I'll probably post a poll tomorrow when my eyes aren't so crossed from staring at the screen so long. See what all you Bull tier folk think.
Separately, life is going pretty smoothly - constant small car troubles in my little 2015 golf. But the weather's good, health is great, and my social calendar is booked out. Here's hoping you all have a wonderful weekend!
