Hello patrons!
I have added animal companions. There is a new Companions sub-tab under Details that only shows up when you have a feat that gives you an animal companion or familiar.
I'm going to be out of town for the next 3 days before diving into implementing the APG, so I wanted to give you all something. I was able to complete animal companions but haven't yet started implementing familiars (although familiars seem much easier to implement). I wanted to know what your thoughts on animal companions are, I'd love some feedback. Anything you like / don't like, I'd love to hear it all.
I decided to go with being a little less automated with animal companions (for example, rather than having your animal companion automatically become mature when you select a feat, you can change the "age" of the companion directly at any time). If this is something people don't like as much and would prefer a more automated system, I'm willing to look into changing it.
Things I intend to eventually add to animal companions:
Currently only CRB animal companions are in Wanderer's Guide, I plan to add the others as well.
Animal companions can currently only have one specialization, as the rulebook mentions, you can possibly have more than one and that's something Wanderer's Guide should support.
Animal companions should be able to equip barding. To expand upon that, I think it would be awesome if animal companions had their own inventory. Maybe even an option where, when moving an item, you can move it to your animal companion's inventory instead.
