Hello everyone, and happy Sneak Peek Thursday! Working w/ Dragna and his awesome team, the next map we decided to tackle was the Whispering Wall from Arc J. This location is inspired by Yester Hill next to the Fog Wall on the eastern side of the hill.
This will be the first (of many) updated Yester Hill maps, and I want this area to feel distinctive from the rest of the Svalich Woods. I plan to use more oranges and reds in the color palette with a mix of rocky terrain and dead / dying trees. I also plan to incorporate druidic signs in various stones, burial carvings, and other ritual nods to indicate their presence.
While no specific combat encounter is specified here, this will still make for a nice set piece to show the boundaries of Barovia with the impenetrable Fog Wall!
I'll have the full set of maps ready by Monday.
