I changed my decision about using AI in the game.
I started to use AI to be able to make very nice environments that I couldn't do if I had to craft everything in 3D, so it would go much faster.
However...
I was playing the other day some game, and scene didn't had background, it was just some element , on a darker layer like you see on the image. and TBH I wasn't annoyed at all that I don't see the background every frame.
In this condition, I can make scenes without having to make backgrounds every time, it saves a LOT of time (craft, scene managing, resources, rendering...)=> So, it also means that I don't have to make so much backgrounds.=> So, it means I don't need AI, I can just do only 1 time the backgrounds by hand and that's all.
What about upcoming game?___
It will be uploaded TODAY.
There will still be AI, but now see it as a PLACEHOLDER, it will be replaced little by little, the final product should have zero AI at all.Consider that it's used right now to be able to "start" faster.
The first test build feature a Lot of work even if there is AI, I have made a fun quests that lead to an ANIMATED scene with Snu (with VOICE)
Note:I had so much fun writing the dialogues, much more than in the past, idk if it's because it's a different setup or if I'm just excited
See you later in the Patreon feed for the first build upload!NB: It's a first build, NOT the first update, there is no story introduction yet.
