Still out of town*, so lemme just quickly note that another hugely popular film that I’d been ignoring (due to its having received at best mildly good reviews) won the request poll this week. In fact so many of you voted for Obsession at both stages—complete blowouts—that I’m surprised it took this long for anyone to request it. This is what the requests are for! Make your desires known, big spenders!

Some of you will have noticed that I haven’t updated Lbox or my site in a while; I’m just gonna wait and do it when I get home, as it involves a lot of copy/pasting that’s a comparative pain in the ass when I don’t have a mouse. (Still can’t fathom how most people do all their work on laptops, using fucking trackpads.) Reminder also that I’m holding off on some films that I either own on Blu-ray (Daisies) or need to rent (Brewster McCloud, Torso). If I try to digitally rent anything where I currently am, an uncle of mine gets charged, and doing a whole logout to fix that is too much hassle (as I’d then have to trouble someone to log back in on the family account, and I think it’d require relogging all the streaming services). Guess I could Venmo-reimburse him but fuck it. All will be watched and reviewed by mid-July. (Attica I’m probably watching tonight as it’s on YouTube.)
