Integrity of the narrative and connected sequence of events - POLL

Heyo. I've caught myself putting some render ideas on hold or abandoning them entirely because I can't find a place for them in the overall flow of events between the characters I've been building for years - the development of my alternate MK universe, so to speak. I was wondering how many of you are following this, whether it's important to you to see connection between events and mets betweeen characters over time, how they evolving, just like Cassie after meet with Calypso, always getting bullied Kitana by Mileena lol and etc, and whether it's even necessary to be. I made a Sonya Blade model, and I'm thinking about making a joint render with Cassie, but right now Cassie is in the Outworld, having fun with Mileena and the others (I'm still working on the second part of that sauna series with Sheeva, yeah(i fucking hate doing series/comics, it take too much time :c)). It's like these events are stopping me from making a joint Sonya and Cassie render. Maybe this is some new stage of prof-deformation or another bout of retardness idk :DSo this poll will settle the matter. Maybe I'll maintain the integrity, maybe I'll abandon the idea entirely, or maybe I'll create some kind of hybrid, and just occasionally deviate from the overall narrative to create something that doesn't fit into the overall story at all, or it will be something like a flashback or something like that idk, we will seeChoose the option that reflects your attitude towards all this.
