Okay, so I have a bunch of old files open on Clip Studio of stuff I have - for the most part - never shared, or only shared like years ago that none of you might have ever seen, and so I thought I would throw some of them here! A lot of these are really messy, like half-figured ideas I just slapped on a page, but I think it’s all interesting stuff to see, especially because some of it really shows how different my conception of her was at different points — for instance, the fact that I tried to draw her as cool motorcycle girl, even tho now her outfit is substantially more kink-oriented than moto-oriented (tho obviously there is very real crossover there).
I hope y’all enjoy seeing these! I adore Anaïs, and my struggle to pin her down as a character is kind of one of the major aspects of her book that I’ll be publishing next year; she has gone through so many different stories and so many different variations, but I think I am finally MORE settling on who she is! I hope these help illuminate a bit of that struggle! 😌😌😌
