Okay, so I hope you like these little Anaïs sketches! I am playing with the same tool a lot, but it feels really good, and sometimes my lines get lazier, but those ALSO feel good. On that second drawing, sometimes you just wanna produce something that FEELS GOOD to draw, no matter how fuckin’ goddamn wonky it is hehehe :)
With the MJ and Peter, I had noticed how absolutely fucked their proportions had been on the original drawing, which drove me crazy, and so I fucked with those… and then made a ton of other changes. I like the kind of blue and yellow jazzy feel. :D
What do you all think? Do you enjoy seeing even some more expressionistic Anaïs drawings? Do they feel as tactile as more more realisitc ones?
Also, a fun update. For an upcoming DC cover, I asked my editor if I could give the character a costume they were only ever shown wearing in like one panel of one comic in 2005, and she said yes. If my layout gets approved for that cover, y’all are in for some HOTTTTTTTT SHIT. 😎😎😎
