Hey hey!
Alright, I promised it, and it's time to deliver it!
I was very eager to show this to all of you, but as you all know, I decided not to show it before the version update, as I think it'd be a spoiler in many ways. Better to let the surprise be seen in-game! Now that Update 13 has been out for a few weeks for you, Patreon supporters, however, it's time to unravel this CG!
Blain did a magnificent job at it, as always! You can now see the evolution of it from the very first rough sketch to the more detailed sketches, flats, and then all the versions that came out of it. Obviously, there are a few more steps in between for lighting, etc, but I didn't think it was worth showing every single detail.
Here we can also see, as promised, two variations that cannot be seen in-game (yet). The versions of the Captain without pants will remain Patreon-only for a while and, eventually, probably be unlockable in the game as an extra. Enjoy it for now!
I guess there's one more little thing I didn't show above. An extra of what could have been, maybe? Maybe Resnick should have done this instead of messing with his pants?
I joke, of course! Resnick would never! Not to the Captain like this, at least. ;)
This was just a silly thing we did while we were going over the artwork. Couldn't help it!
