This month, the thunder of gunpowder and the clash of steel bridge two distinct worlds. From the sweeping steppes of the Dukatowo Leasir to the desperate prison dioramas of a kingdom in turmoil, we bring you a collection defined by duty, heritage, and the high stakes of the sword.
🔱 THE BANNERMAN – DUKATOWO LEASIR
"Lord, do not count the enemy, but tell us where they are, so that our wings may find them." — Traditional Leasir Winged Hussar Oath.
We are proud to introduce a new range for the Calling the Banners universe: the Dukatowo Leasir. This collection draws heavy inspiration from the martial splendor of the Polish Winged Hussars, enriched with the brutal aesthetic of Ivan the Terrible’s armies and subtle Ottoman influences. These 32mm miniatures maintain our signature historicist touch, creating a unique fighting force that feels grounded in reality yet belongs firmly to the world of fantasy. We have moved this release forward to ensure the full range is ready before our upcoming Sci-Fi project takes center stage.
CHARACTERS AND CAVALRY
Zarina on Horse: The supreme authority of the steppes. This miniature exudes command and mysticism, capturing a leader who guides her people from the vanguard of her wargame army.
Winged Hussars: The crown jewel of the Duchy. These riders represent the ultimate shock cavalry; their iconic wings are a symbol of the terror that precedes the most devastating charge in the eastern lands for your fantasy regiment wargames.
INFANTRY
Harquebusier: Elite heavy infantry with a fascinating hybrid design. Armed with pole-axes that serve as supports for their arquebuses, these soldiers are capable of maintaining a lethal firing line and defending it with heavy steel in melee.
⚔️ ADVENTURER – THE KING’S MUSKETEERS
"I do not ask pardon for what I have done, but for what I have not done to save France." — The Man in the Iron Mask.
This month, we return to one of our most successful themes from last year: the Musketeers. This release steps away from pure high fantasy to embrace cinematic historical fantasy, specifically inspired by the aesthetic of "The Man in the Iron Mask". These dioramas capture the high tension of the final prison scene, making them a dream for collectors and fans of classic swashbuckling adventure.
CHARACTERS
The King: The central figure of the courtly drama. A miniature with a superb presence, perfect for representing mission objectives or high-ranking VIPs in your historical wargame scenarios or role-playing games.
Musketeers Fighting: Our protagonists caught in the heat of a duel, just moments before their legendary final stand. These are highly dynamic figures, ideal as heroes for an urban warband.
INFANTRY
Musketeers Firing: A disciplined unit that can form compact blocks on the battlefield. Their supported firing stance makes them extremely useful for representing line infantry with a touch of Golden Age elegance in your STLs for 3D printing.
We hope you enjoy this first look at what is coming. These pieces are not literal copies of historical units but a Last Sword interpretation crafted for your tabletop. We look forward to hearing your thoughts on these new ranges!
