Let’s continue with another look at June. If the first preview brought gunpowder, court intrigue and heavy cavalry, this second one opens a different door: old oaths, royal escorts, soldiers from the east and a creature that does not fully belong to the world of men.
The Adventurer
This part of the month is all about honour, short-range gunpowder and decisions made when there is no time left to talk.
The Four Musketeers are inspired by the characters from The Man in the Iron Mask, at the very moment before they begin their charge. They are not young duelists looking for fame, but veterans who have served kings, lost friends and still carry one last debt to their own oath.
We wanted them to feel like men who have grown old with a sword in hand: heavy cloaks, pistols ready, blades drawn and that mix of pride and weariness that only belongs to those who know this may be their last ride together.
We also have the Royal Coach, a piece full of courtly flavour. A royal coach is not just transport: it carries orders, secrets, heirs, favourites and enemies behind the same carved wood. Wherever it appears, the road is no longer safe. It can be escorted, ambushed, defended or turned into the centre of a small story of intrigue and gunpowder.
The Bannerman
The second block moves toward colder, harsher lands.
The Streltsi take inspiration from early modern Russian infantry: frontier soldiers, firearms, long axes, banners and drums. They do not march like a polished palace guard. They carry the weight of long campaigns, bad roads and orders given far from court.
Alongside them comes the Elemental Bear, a beast born more from myth than from common war. We wanted something that felt torn from old forests and fireside tales: not a simple bear, but a force of stone, fury and unleashed nature.
We really like how this block brings two worlds together: the tired loyalty of the musketeers and the wild power marching behind the banners of the east.
