DESCRIPTION

Hi everyone!

Today, we bring you a packed update covering three major topics. We want to show you what we are working on for August and gather your feedback on all three fronts. Let’s dive in!

1. Dulkemburg: The Blood-Tethered Wretches & The "Double Benefit"

The Dulkemburg – Nightfall in the Cursed City campaign is currently live in The Armory in its Early Bird phase (-50%).

Today, we want to spotlight the Blood-Tethered Wretches. They are the most tragic thralls of the Ordo Draconis: wretched humans dragging lanterns through the ruins in search of magical shards in exchange for drops of their masters' blood. They come armed with scavenged rusted iron, chains, and shackles, with poses that convey absolute dread.

The Double Benefit: We want to remind you that by hosting this campaign directly on our store (and not on Kickstarter), your active Patreon discount stacks on top of the Early Bird campaign discount. You get a direct double discount when logged in, something that was technically impossible to offer on external platforms.

2. The Adventurer (August): Norman Infantry & The Coif/Strap System

For August's Adventurer tier, we are diving deep into Norman infantry. With this range, we wanted to solve one of the design issues we dislike most in existing market options: the fit of heads and chainmail coifs, as well as shield straps (a historical detail almost never represented).

To solve this, we designed a modular system where the head cut is placed exactly along the edge of the chainmail coif. This allows for a total swap of heads across different bodies without sacrificing a clean, seamless finish. Additionally, the bodies and arms respect the leather shield straps to give them that essential historical look.

3. The Crusader (August): Space Legions Progress (WIP)

For August's Crusader tier, we are showing two Space Legions miniatures in a much more advanced Work-In-Progress (WIP) stage compared to the rough concepts shown recently.

We know many of you were concerned about the dynamism and movement of the poses in the initial designs. While these miniatures are still subject to change before the final release, we feel these poses are much closer to the direction we want for the range.

💬 We want to hear from you!

We are highly interested in your feedback:

What do you think of the Dulkemburg warband and the Wretches' design?

How do you feel about the modular coif system for the Normans?

Do you think the Space Legions are heading in the right direction regarding dynamism?

Let us know your thoughts in the comments below! Thank you so much for your ongoing support.
