I've pretty much completed the android/ios versions of Pathbuilder 2e with Starbuilder 2e included.
For android, it has meant an entire change to the UI, along with reprogramming large amounts of its functionality from Java into Kotlin (database handling, cloud, gm connect, pdf export etc). There is quite a lot that could go wrong.
I've put a version up on google play for some Closed alpha testing before releasing to a wider beta audience.
To join the testing:
1) become a member of this google group
https://groups.google.com/g/android-starbuilder2e-test
- You need to use the google account you want to test pathbuilder with. You probably want to set the email subscription settings to none so you don't get spammed.
2) Use this link https://play.google.com/apps/testing/com.redrazors.pathbuilder2e with the same google account to sign up for testing.
3) The alpha build version 275+ should be available to update in the play store.
Before you do any testing please:
1) Export and backup your local database if there are any builds that you care about. It could all go badly wrong.
2) Be aware that if the tests don't go successfully and I can't get the new UI finished before I need to start on the next books (LO: High Seas) then I'll need to revert to the old version. This may cause serious problems for your app and may need a complete reinstall.
3) Report any errors as a conversation in that google group.
