The focus of this update is on the storm expanse expedition. The expanse area was doubled - from 20 island systems to 40. Further back in the area, you will find territory of Lanteans. There are two factions - Lantean remnants and Lantean fanatics. While fanatics are always hostile, remnants are wary of your presence and if you navigate carefully, they will not attack you. Be careful, their ships are very powerful. You can also employ diplomacy to improve your relationship, which will open trade and further interactions with them.
You can now also customize the crew of your ship. Besides your companions at the Freeport, you can select other people to sail with. As this is a testing version, you can also select people, you have not completed personal quests for (which will be a requirement in a final version). There are new scenes for your new crew members on board and also new scenes with island natives and Lanteans. A lot of new functionality has been added to your ship and the expanse navigation. More details in the change log. If you have an old save, it should work, but if you are already sailing, I recommend returning back to the Freeport, undock from ship, make new save and than transfer it to this version.
