Wow! Fig of the year right here! 🔥

The custom elements! The amazing design! The production quality! The transparent parts! This fig is just... well it's fantastic quite frankly!

Wow!

An amazing team of folks really pulled it together for this one!

The primary designer and newcomer on the scene, AtlasBricks, launched a very strong wave of several Fantastic Four figs for preorder back in March, along with Johnny here being the outstanding solo fig to kick it all off!

Their printer/producer, 80sCustoms, have been really strong in the past few years to take on Atlas’s wonderful designs! It was a great match!

And of course PoisonFigs who have quickly become the masters of transparent plastics rounded out the Three Musketeers!

There was a lot of skill and work involved with bringing this lil fella to life, and it shows! One of my favorite aspects of this fig is how it has different details to highlight depending on the lighting!

Printing the patch-work flames across the limbs and torso give this fig a very strong range of appearances that you can really only appreciate in person. I’ve tried to light it in a few ways to show you what I mean by this…

As you can see the face, emblem, and musculature (the main focus as it should be) is always easily definable in any lighting! It’s SO cool how they accomplished this!

By designing and printing the flames in just two simple layers of orange, they independently blend and can get lost in the noise of the transparent plastic. But together in harmony, the two colors aid each other from disappearing all together!

Then of course, going a step further, the torso ink being darker, and thicker overall, keeps those details strong and contrasting. All of these aspects work so well together, keeping the fig from becoming visually muddled in virtually any lighting scenario!

Dude! How freaking COOL! 🤯

Then of course when the only place in the whole fig to use white ink is the face! It really defines the eyes and teeth as the sweet cherry on top!

Ouside of that, the custom parts are great! Although, the head and fire "hair" are fused together...

I haven’t had this much fun analyzing a minifig in a long time! You can really see where the $80 preorder price comes into play with all these incredible designers coming together for an amazing final product!

Very cool stuff you guys! Can’t wait for the rest of the FF coming soon!
