Good morning everyone! Hope you all had a good week and weekend. It is July 6th and this is going to be a shorter one — we're in a bit of a lull period for July with recordings, and a lot of what I'm working on is ongoing background stuff. Here's what got done and what's coming up.
What Got Done Last Week
We got a special sponsored recording done on Monday June 29th. Then on July 1st we got a Secrets of Grayce recording done. We were supposed to have a Black Crusade recording on Thursday but Thurston got really sick and had to take the rest of the week off. He physically couldn't get to the computer to run the game, so we just told him to rest up and we'll get it next week. We are not going to force anything on anyone when they're not well.
Then on Saturday we got Whisperwood recorded! Really appreciate everyone who came to watch the stream. The feedback has been very positive so far and I would love more of it — constructive feedback specifically, not just "you suck." I genuinely want to improve, especially since I haven't been doing active game mastering and streaming at the same time for a good while. Drop your thoughts in the comments on the episodes when they land.
This Week
Tonight we should have our Black Crusade recording — those of you waiting for the next episode, it's coming. Then on Wednesday July 8th we have our Secrets of Grayce recording, which should wrap up the adventure we've been running through. I've been adding roleplay into that dungeon wherever I can because the original adventure is pretty much just combat room after combat room, and that's not really what we're about. We are going to finish it cleanly rather than just stopping mid-dungeon.

Background Work
With Hulkykrow away on vacation and Thurston heading to Gen Con later in July and into August, this is genuinely a good window for me to catch up on a pile of things. I want to get a backlog of PDFs and content queued up, make progress on ZoranTheWizard videos, clean up the Patreon, and go through our analytics properly.
The YouTube algorithm changed on us back in February and what we were doing before just isn't working the same way anymore. We need to sit down, look at everything, and figure out what to adjust. The content is good — it's just a constant fight against the algorithm on every platform. And yes, we have to use the D&D tags even though we don't play D&D, because that's what people search for and that's what the algorithm responds to. It drives me crazy but that's the game we have to play.
Odo is also working on updating the Narrative Declaration website to add Whisperwood in, which is great.
