DESCRIPTION
The English Dub for Miss Kobayashi’s Dragon Maid has become infamous within the anime community for various rewritten lines. While we do think it’s unfair that it and similarly controversial dubs are being used to generalize English anime dubbing as a medium, we *do* think it’s fair to criticize and question what this dub did. We discuss the problems with carelessly punching up dialogue in dubs like Dragon Maid’s, and also look to highlight the positives as well as the negatives for this dub.
