Wow. I laughed. I cried. I don't wanna say much as I don't wanna spoil anything but it was really hard to shake this out after watching.
PHENOMENAL CAST. The acting is chef's kiss 👏🏽
Been a fan of Ji Hoon's acting since Weak Hero Class so when I saw that he did this movie, which is now the HIGHEST grossing movie of all time in South Korea 😱, I knew I needed to watch it. It's currently only available in cinemas but I found a subbed copy 🤭
PLOT:
A young king is dethroned and exiled to a small village in a mountain valley with his court lady. He meets the villagers there, including the village chief. The chief and the village residents look after the young dethroned king.
PS. The subs go a little fast in some areas so I found it helped to skip reading the name parts like [Minister 1] and go straight into the dialogue. But you should be able to adjust quickly like I did.
